Erik de Goeij becomes CEO of Scarabee Aviation Group

Scarabee Aviation Group B.V. (‘Scarabee’) announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Erik de Goeij as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors effective as of March 1st 2020. Erik de Goeij previously held the position of CEO of dnata Passenger Handling Services and Cargo Handling in The Netherlands and Cargo Handling in Belgium.

During this time of transformation, there is no better person to lead Scarabee than Erik de Goeij,” said Boudewijn Wellink, who is resigning as interim CEO of Scarabee after leading the company through a restructuring and subsequent sale to Daifuku. “Erik is a proven leader with more than 15 years of airport experience, business acumen and the ability to bring people together. His vision for how technology will be used and experienced at airports around the world is exactly what Scarabee needs as the company enters its next chapter of expanded product innovation and growth.
