International Service Manager

In this challenging role as International Service Manager, you are responsible for our international service and maintenance contracts on security solutions with customers in EMEA region. That means that you will select and manage local maintenance partners and will (re)structure parts of the current international maintenance and service organization. You are responsible for the performance of local maintenance partners and coordinate all activities with the aim to manage the agreed services with our customers.

Scarabee uses co-creation when developing new products and services. For example, we work closely with stakeholders, government, airports and airlines. We design, develop and implement solutions for passengers, baggage and safety processes. 

We are originally a Dutch organization with offices all over the world. In the Netherlands you will find us in Hoofddorp and Schiphol. 

Job description

In this challenging role as International Service Manager, you are responsible for our international service and maintenance contracts on security solutions with customers in EMEA region. That means that you will select and manage local maintenance partners and will (re)structure parts of the current international maintenance and service organization. You are responsible for the performance of local maintenance partners and coordinate all activities with the aim to manage the agreed services with our customers. 

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

  • Monitoring the SLAs and KPIs with the customer and maintenance partners and advise on performance analyzes.
  • Responsible for compliance with ITIL processes with regard to Incident, Change, Problem, Capacity, Project and release management.
  • Informing the customer about the condition of the installations and discussing the status reports 
  • Proactively contribute to essential milestones such as quality improvement, process improvement and limiting loss of value.
  • Informing the customer about the work performed, any deviations in performance and needed actions.
  • Implementing new contracts and ensuring proper implementation within the organization in consultation with the relevant delivery department.
  • Communication and translation of customer wishes to the internal organization and you follow-up of actions.

You report to the Sr. Manager Service & Maintenance.

What is your background

  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering 
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in managing maintenance and performance contracts in an international, technical environment.
  • Knowledge of the NEN regulations and ITIL standards
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the English language in speech and writing
  • Preferably, you also have a good knowledge of the Dutch language
  • You have strong analytical, commercial and communicative skills
  • You have a natural way of building relationships and you are able to handle cultural differences
  • You live in the Amsterdam region.
  • You are prepared to travel frequently abroad
