Your Role

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of complex sub-projects within our organization. From design to realization, you contribute to both new-build and renovation projects, ensuring that all installations are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. You combine strategic insight with hands-on leadership and work closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Your Impact

You will manage a diverse portfolio of technical sub-projects and act as the key link between internal teams and external partners. You coordinate execution, monitor progress and quality, and lead the project execution team. You’ll collaborate closely with project leads, engineers, planners, draftsmen, technicians, and controllers. In addition, you will maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and building strong long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plan projects, including analysis of requests, specifications, and contracts
  • Develop and monitor realistic schedules with clear phases and milestones
  • Manage budgets and control costs in collaboration with finance and other departments
  • Lead project meetings and direct the execution team on-site
  • Monitor progress, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure correct implementation of installations according to design and regulations
  • Coordinate project delivery and aftercare together with the Service department
  • Report progress and financial status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify deviations and proactively adjust plans and budgets as needed
  • Manage project risks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and foster innovation, including digitization and use of BIM

What You Bring

You are a natural leader with a strong technical background, capable of balancing attention to detail with the broader project perspective. You have experience managing projects in technical environments and are comfortable navigating diverse interests and stakeholders.

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or Agile
  • At least 4 years of experience in project management within the technical installation industry or a similar field
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and projects (electrical, mechanical, software)
  • Technical knowledge of systems such as HVAC, electrical, security, and sustainable installations
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; German is a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% within Europe
