Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize network assets according to required performance standards.
  • Actively participate in projects with our clients to set up and improve infrastructure.
  • Design, install, and configure servers, workstations, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
  • (Automated) build, set up, and maintain servers and network equipment.
  • Ensure the stability and security of electronic data and infrastructure.
  • Maintain system documentation and oversee system changes.
  • Manage and optimize operating systems and applications.

What You Bring

  • A completed HBO (or equivalent) degree in a relevant IT field.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience managing complex IT security environments and executing various IT projects.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software setup.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and a proactive, initiative-taking attitude.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and flexibility in working hours.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (Category B).

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, UNIX/Linux, and cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and networks.
  • Practical knowledge of virtualization and automated deployment of environments.
  • Experience in applying security policies and security architectures is essential.

Desired Skills

  • Certifications in IT security are a plus (e.g., VCA).
  • Experience with security assessment tools (e.g., Nessus).
  • Programming knowledge (e.g., Powershell), ITIL processes, and DevOps are valuable.
  • Affinity for automation in relation to logistics processes is an additional advantage.
