New airport security concepts and solutions

Scarabee’s Security Experience Centre (SEC) in the Netherlands is a modern facility equipped to test new airport security concepts and solutions like ‘Security as a service’ and ‘Smart Security’. Continuing changes to regulatory requirements mean that we and our partners have to be able to react to these changes quickly and adequately. For example, using Agile project management techniques, Scarabee and project stakeholders work effectively together at the SEC to develop, implement and test a new airport security filter solution, improving both airport productivity and passenger experience in a security screening lane.

In 2014, we doubled the size of the existing Scarabee SEC to 6,000m2, giving us the space and facilities to test new larger-scale concepts, implement pilot studies, and extend and improve our security training services.
