Are you service-oriented, energetic, and do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment? As a Ground Steward(ess) / BagDrop Host at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, you ensure passengers start their journey smoothly and pleasantly. You are the first point of contact in the baggage drop-off area and assist travelers with a welcoming smile.

What will you do as a Groundsteward(ess) / Bag Drop Host?

Within the BagDrop area, you are the eyes and ears on the work floor. You support passengers during the self-service baggage process and ensure everything runs smoothly. Your tasks include:

  • Assisting passengers during the baggage drop-off process;
  • Answering questions and proactively offering assistance;
  • Independently resolving minor BagDrop unit malfunctions;
  • Reporting larger technical issues to the Service Team;
  • Reporting completed activities and tasks.

What do you bring?

You are hospitable, stress-resistant, and proactive. In the dynamic environment of Schiphol, you feel completely at home. You enjoy being on the move, can work independently, and appreciate flexibility in working hours. In addition:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • You are able to obtain a Certificate of No Objection (VGB);
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English;
  • You are able to travel to Schiphol day and night;
  • You are physically fit and comfortable walking a lot;
  • You are willing to work irregular shifts;
  • Experience in a service-oriented role is a plus, but not required.
