Junior Commercial Employee

In this junior role, you will support our sales team in identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities. You will ensure that Account Managers are well-prepared to engage with prospects by gathering market information, enriching leads, and providing insight into opportunities. Additionally, you will participate in tender processes and assist with various commercial activities for our regular clients. This allows you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial profession and contribute directly to the success of our sales team.

What will you do as a Junior Commercial Employee?

You will work closely with Account Managers and colleagues from the team and be given the opportunity to develop yourself in both sales and analysis. No two days are the same: you will switch between research, support, and contact with (potential) clients. Your key duties include:

• Supporting Account Managers in preparing for meetings with prospects;
• Mapping and analyzing potential clients and market segments;
• Enriching, qualifying, and following up on leads so that Account Managers can engage in targeted conversations;
• Assisting with procurement processes (tenders) and gathering necessary information;
• Assisting with commercial activities for existing clients;
• Identifying commercial opportunities within the market and with clients;
• Collecting and structuring market and client information;
• Preparing overviews and simple analyses to support the sales team;
• Contributing ideas on how we can make our commercial processes smarter and more efficient;
• Learning to work with CRM systems and sales tools to effectively manage data and opportunities.

What do you bring?

• You are preferably available full-time;
• You have a Bachelor’s degree level of work and thinking, and preferably a diploma in the field of commerce/marketing;
• You have an interest in aviation and/or technology;
• You are commercially minded, analytically strong, and have good communication skills;
• You are proficient in both Dutch and English;
• You have a proactive and eager-to-learn work attitude.
